sudarśane vare tīrthe godānaṃ tatra dāpayet | samyagyātrāphalaprepsuḥ sarvapāpaviśuddhaye

Pilgrimage becomes spiritually complete when joined with dharmic charity, especially go-dāna, aimed at inner purification.

Performing (arranging) go-dāna—donation of a cow—at the tīrtha to gain the full fruit of the yātrā and cleanse sins.
