Transliteration

yatra devyā samānītā lakṣmīrdetyānnihatya ca | tena lakṣmīśvaraṃ nāma svayaṃ devyā pratiṣṭhitam

Translation

Foi ali que a Deusa, após matar os Dānavas, trouxe de volta Lakṣmī; por isso esse liṅga é chamado Lakṣmīśvara, estabelecido pela própria Deusa.
