Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) to the sages (deduced)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Scene: A householder at Prabhāsa offers tarpaṇa with cupped hands to pitṛs, then presents offerings at a small deva-altar, and finally feeds brāhmaṇas; the three recipients appear as subtle luminous presences, and the giver’s burden lifts.
Wealth becomes purifying when shared dharmically—honoring ancestors, gods, and the worthy reduces sin.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra’s māhātmya context emphasizes offerings and satisfaction (tarpana/dāna) as part of sacred living.
Tarpana/satisfaction through offerings to Pitṛs and Devas and support of brāhmaṇas, especially after obtaining gains.
