दक्षिणोत्तरतो देवि समुद्रात्कौरवेश्वरीम् । एतस्मिन्नंतरे क्षेत्रे क्षेत्रज्ञोऽहं वरानने
dakṣiṇottarato devi samudrātkauraveśvarīm | etasminnaṃtare kṣetre kṣetrajño'haṃ varānane
Ó Deusa, de sul a norte, estende-se do oceano até Kauraveśvarī. Dentro desta região sagrada, ó formosa de rosto, Eu sou o Kṣetrajña—o Conhecedor e Guardião do kṣetra.
