न सीदेत्प्रतिगृह्णानः पृथिवीमनुसागराम् । नास्ति किंचिन्महादेवि दुष्कृतं ब्राह्मणस्य तु
na sīdetpratigṛhṇānaḥ pṛthivīmanusāgarām | nāsti kiṃcinmahādevi duṣkṛtaṃ brāhmaṇasya tu
Ainda que ele aceitasse (dádivas) por toda a terra até aos oceanos, não afundaria. Pois, ó Mahādevī, não há mal algum que se apegue a um brāhmaṇa (assim dotado).
