Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 39

येन कुष्ठविनिर्मुक्तस्तत्क्षणादेव जायते । तथा ब्रह्मवधोद्भूतैः पातकैरुपपातकैः

yena kuṣṭhavinirmuktastatkṣaṇādeva jāyate | tathā brahmavadhodbhūtaiḥ pātakairupapātakaiḥ

Por essa imersão, a pessoa fica livre da lepra naquele mesmo instante; e do mesmo modo é libertada dos pecados e das faltas secundárias nascidas do crime de matar um brāhmaṇa (brahma-hatyā).
