इन्द्र उवाच । जानाम्यहं चतुर्वक्त्र स्वं कायं पापसंयुतम् । चिह्नैर्ब्रह्मवधोद्भूतैस्तस्माच्छुद्धिं वदस्व मे
indra uvāca | jānāmyahaṃ caturvaktra svaṃ kāyaṃ pāpasaṃyutam | cihnairbrahmavadhodbhūtaistasmācchuddhiṃ vadasva me
Indra disse: «Ó Quatro-Faces, sei que meu próprio corpo está manchado de pecado, marcado por sinais nascidos do brahma-vadha, o matar de um brâmane. Por isso, diz-me o meio de purificação.»
