। ऋषय ऊचुः । ब्रह्मणा कतमे स्थाने तत्र सूत कृतं तपः । वालखिल्यैश्च तैः सर्वैर्मुनिभिः शंसितव्रतैः
| ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | brahmaṇā katame sthāne tatra sūta kṛtaṃ tapaḥ | vālakhilyaiśca taiḥ sarvairmunibhiḥ śaṃsitavrataiḥ
Os sábios disseram: «Ó Sūta, em que lugar, ali, Brahmā realizou a sua austeridade (tapas), e em que lugar também todos aqueles sábios Vālakhilya, ascetas louvados por seus votos, a praticaram?»
