किमेतद्विहितं पाप त्वया कर्म विगर्हितम् । नैवार्हा मम कान्ताया वक्त्रवीक्षाऽनुरागतः
kimetadvihitaṃ pāpa tvayā karma vigarhitam | naivārhā mama kāntāyā vaktravīkṣā'nurāgataḥ
“Que é isto, ó pecador—que ato censurável cometeste? Não és digno de contemplar o rosto da minha amada (Devī), pois estás apegado a tal conduta.”
