ऋषय ऊचुः । एतत्स्कन्दपुरंनाम तव नाम्ना भविष्यति । चमत्कारपुरं तद्वत्सांप्रतं सुरसत्तम
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | etatskandapuraṃnāma tava nāmnā bhaviṣyati | camatkārapuraṃ tadvatsāṃprataṃ surasattama
Os sábios disseram: “Isto será chamado Skandapura, levando o teu nome. E do mesmo modo, desde agora será também conhecido como Camatkārapura, ó o melhor entre os deuses.”
