Narrative voice (contextually Sūta/Lomaharṣaṇa in Tīrthamāhātmya)
Tirtha: Saptarṣi-āśrama
Type: kshetra
Listener: Dvi-jāḥ / viprendrāḥ
Scene: Bright-fortnight fifth day: devotees arrange flowers, incense, and sandal paste before seven honored seats/icons; each is worshiped in sequence; the hermitage glows with lamps and fragrant smoke.
Devotional worship done on the right lunar day and performed in proper order is presented as especially efficacious in tīrtha-māhātmya.
The chapter’s tīrtha (immediately connected with the Saptarṣis in the following verses) is the ritual setting implied by “tatra/this method.”
On Bhādrapada bright-fortnight pañcamī, perform pūjā with flowers, incense, and unguents, honoring the recipients in the prescribed sequence.
