इंद्रद्युम्नेति वै भूपस्त्वया दृष्टः श्रुतोऽथ वा । चिरायुस्त्वं श्रुतोऽस्माभिः पृच्छामस्तेन सन्मुने
iṃdradyumneti vai bhūpastvayā dṛṣṭaḥ śruto'tha vā | cirāyustvaṃ śruto'smābhiḥ pṛcchāmastena sanmune
«Viste, ou ao menos ouviste falar, do rei chamado Indradyumna? Ouvimos que és de longa vida; por isso, ó nobre sábio, perguntamos-te.»
