Sūta disse: Do mesmo modo, há ali outra divindade, estabelecida por Yājñavalkya, conhecida como Puṣpāditya, doadora de todos os desejos aos homens.
Sūta
Tirtha: Puṣpāditya (shrine/deity)
Type: temple
Listener: Śaunaka and the Naimiṣāraṇya sages
Scene: Sūta narrates as the scene shifts to a sanctum where a radiant deity named Puṣpāditya stands adorned with flowers; a subtle overlay shows sage Yājñavalkya performing the original consecration.
Tīrthas preserve living lineages of dharma through sage-established deities; sincere worship there is portrayed as a direct means to legitimate human aims (kāmas) under dharma.
A site within Nāgara-khaṇḍa’s Tīrtha-māhātmya where Puṣpāditya is present; the verse names the deity (Puṣpāditya) but not the geographic place-name.
Worship of Puṣpāditya, a Sūrya-form established by Yājñavalkya, is recommended for attainment of desired goals.
