ततो हरगणाः सर्वे दानवैस्तै रणाजिरे । जिता जग्मुर्दिशो भीता हरवीक्षणतत्पराः
tato haragaṇāḥ sarve dānavaistai raṇājire | jitā jagmurdiśo bhītā haravīkṣaṇatatparāḥ
Então todos os gaṇas de Hara (Śiva), vencidos por aqueles Dānavas no campo de batalha, fugiram amedrontados para todas as direções, desejosos de ver Hara e nele buscar refúgio.
