यदि ते संविभागेन पापस्यांशोऽपि गच्छति । तत्कुरुष्वाथवा पाप दुर्वहं ते भविष्यति
yadi te saṃvibhāgena pāpasyāṃśo'pi gacchati | tatkuruṣvāthavā pāpa durvahaṃ te bhaviṣyati
“Se, pela partilha, até uma fração do pecado vier a ti, então faze-o (somente sob essa condição). Caso contrário, ó pecador, isso se tornará para ti um fardo insuportável.”
