Transliteration

ekadādrīṃdramālokya menā saṃhṛṣṭamānasam | umāṃ saṃsmṛtya niḥśvasya provāceti pativratā

Translation

Certa vez, ao ver o Senhor das Montanhas (Himālaya), o coração de Menā encheu-se de alegria. Lembrando-se de Umā, suspirou e então falou, ela, a esposa fiel.
