ऋतुकालाभिगमनं धर्मोयं गृहिणः परः । स्त्रीणां वरमनुस्मृत्य यथाकाम्यथवा भवेत्

ṛtukālābhigamanaṃ dharmoyaṃ gṛhiṇaḥ paraḥ | strīṇāṃ varamanusmṛtya yathākāmyathavā bhavet

Aproximar-se da própria esposa no tempo devido é o dharma supremo do chefe de família. Lembrando o que é melhor para a mulher, aja em harmonia com o seu desejo voluntário—ou, caso contrário, abstenha-se.
