śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca | narmadādakṣiṇe kūle tīrthaṃ kalakaleśvaram | vikhyātaṃ sarvalokeṣu svayaṃ devena nirmitam

Śrī Mārkaṇḍeya disse: Na margem meridional da Narmadā há o sagrado tīrtha chamado Kalakaleśvara, afamado em todos os mundos, feito pelo próprio Deus.
