प्रधानहोमं कुर्वीत सप्तद्रव्यैर्यथाक्रमम् । आचार्यात्पादमर्धं वा जुहुयुश्चापरे द्विजाः

Transliteration

pradhānahomaṃ kurvīta saptadravyairyathākramam | ācāryātpādamardhaṃ vā juhuyuścāpare dvijāḥ

Translation

Ele deve realizar o pradhāna-homa, a oblação principal, na devida ordem com as sete substâncias prescritas. Alguns dvija (duas-vezes-nascidos) podem também oferecer ao fogo um quarto ou metade da porção, conforme o que receberam do ācārya (mestre).
