Tendo obtido a grande, divina e suprema ordem de Maheśvara, receberam também o mantra-joia de profundo significado e, do mesmo modo, todas as kalās, as artes sagradas, em sua totalidade.

Role: teaching
It highlights Śiva (Pati) as the supreme giver of ājñā (divine ordinance) and mantra; through His grace, seekers receive both right authority for practice and the inner disciplines (kalās) that mature the soul toward liberation.
The verse emphasizes receiving Maheśvara’s command and mantra—core to Saguna Śiva worship—where devotion, initiation-like authorization, and mantra-japa centered on Śiva (often with Linga as the focal form) become the practical means of approaching the Supreme.
Mantra-japa of Śiva’s mantra-ratna with disciplined practice (kalā)—regular meditation, purity of conduct, and steady devotion—performed under Śiva’s ordinance as the guiding principle.
