Mas em outros ritos—como os de śānti para pacificação e fins correlatos—deve-se empregar o conjunto completo de oferendas ou instrumentos de ouro. Devem ser usados com a relva dūrvā, com ghee e leite de vaca misturados, e também com mel.

Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Sadyojāta
Sthala Purana: Not a sthala-purāṇa passage; it is a general prayoga (procedural) instruction for śāntika and allied rites using auspicious substances (hiraṇya/suvarṇa, dūrvā, ghṛta, go-kṣīra, madhu) to restore harmony and remove doṣa.
Significance: Applies broadly to Śiva-ritual praxis; emphasizes śānti (pacification) and auspicious stabilization of life-forces rather than a site-specific merit.
Shakti Form: Gaurī

The verse emphasizes śuddhi (ritual and inner purity): specific sattvic substances—dūrvā, ghee, cow’s milk, and honey—support peace-making (śāṃtika) worship, aligning the devotee’s intention toward harmony, restraint, and Shiva’s grace.
In Saguna Shiva worship through the Liṅga, carefully chosen offerings are vehicles of bhakti. Here, pacificatory rites use auspicious materials and (golden) ritual items to honor Shiva as the compassionate Lord who removes disturbances and grants śānti.
A śāṃtika-oriented Shiva pūjā using dūrvā and abhiṣeka-like offerings (ghee, cow’s milk, honey). As a meditative takeaway, perform the offering while mentally repeating the Panchākṣara mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with the intent of peace and purification.
