Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Rudra
Offering: pushpa
It presents Saguna-Śiva worship as an ordered contemplation: specific forms of Śiva are honoured along with their Śaktis, indicating that divine power (Śakti) and the Lord (Pati) are inseparable in the devotee’s path toward grace and liberation.
The verse reflects the method of structured worship (āvaraṇa-pūjā), where the devotee venerates Śiva’s manifest aspects and attendant powers in successive “enclosures,” a practice that complements Linga worship by deepening focus on Śiva’s accessible, compassionate manifestations.
It suggests āvaraṇa worship—mentally or ritually offering reverence in a second “circle” to Śiva’s named forms and their Śaktis—supported by mantra-japa (such as the Panchakshara, Om Namaḥ Śivāya) as a concentrative aid.
