पञ्चाक्षरमाहात्म्यम् / The Greatness of the Pañcākṣarī (Five-Syllable) Mantra

षडक्षरेण वा देवं सूक्तमन्त्रेण पूजयेत् । शिवभक्तो जितक्रोधो ह्यलब्धो लब्ध एव च

ṣaḍakṣareṇa vā devaṃ sūktamantreṇa pūjayet | śivabhakto jitakrodho hyalabdho labdha eva ca

Deve-se adorar o Senhor, seja com o mantra de seis sílabas, seja com o hino-mantra védico. O devoto de Śiva, tendo vencido a ira, quer nada tenha obtido quer muito tenha alcançado, permanece firme e contente.
