Pelo simples olhar do Guru—ou mesmo por seu toque ou conversa—surge de pronto no ser encarnado um despertar da verdadeira consciência, que vai consumindo os laços (pāśas).

Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
Role: teaching
It teaches that the Guru—Shiva’s representative in the path—can ignite immediate inner awakening, and that this awakening directly diminishes pāśa (bondage), aligning with Shaiva Siddhanta’s emphasis on grace (anugraha) and right knowledge.
The Guru is approached as the living conduit of Shiva’s grace; devotion to Saguna Shiva (including Linga worship) becomes fruitful when guided by the Guru, whose presence and instruction turn ritual and devotion into liberating insight that weakens bondage.
Seek Guru-darśana (seeing the Guru), receive upadeśa (initiatory instruction), and practice daily japa of a Shiva-mantra with disciplined conduct—using the Guru’s guidance to convert devotion and meditation into pāśa-kṣaya (reduction of bondage).
