आ सूर्यो अरुहच्छुक्रमर्णोऽयुक्त यद्धरितो वीतपृष्ठाः । उद्ना न नावमनयन्त धीरा आशृण्वतीरापो अर्वागतिष्ठन् ॥

Transliteration

ā́ sū́ryo aruhac chukrám árṇo’́yukta yád dháritó vīta-pṛ́ṣṭhāḥ | udnā́ ná nā́vam anayanta dhī́rā āśṛṇvatī́r ā́po arvā́g atiṣṭhan ||

Translation

Sūrya subiu à corrente fulgente, quando jungiu os corcéis fulvos de dorsos resplandecentes. Como os sábios conduzem um barco pela água, assim as Águas que escutam ficaram bem próximas, movendo-se para cá — sustentando a travessia do buscador.
