शं रोदसी सुबन्धवे यह्वी ऋतस्य मातरा । भरतामप यद्रपो द्यौः पृथिवि क्षमा रपो मो षु ते किं चनाममत् ॥

śáṃ rodasī́ su-bandhave yahvī́ ṛ́tasya mā́tarā | bháratām ápa yád rápō dyaúḥ pṛthivi kṣámā rápō mó ṣú te kíṃ canā́mamat ||

Que Céu e Terra sejam para ti paz e bom parentesco — as Mães do Ṛta, de vasto curso. Que levem para longe a dor e a aflição; ó Céu, ó Terra, ó chão paciente — que nenhuma marca de desordem te toque.
