मार्कण्डेय उवाच ततः स राजा तं विप्रमाहास्मिन् कीदृशी क्रिया ।
तन्मूकतापनॊदाय स च तं प्राह पार्थिवम् ॥
mārkaṇḍeya uvāca tataḥ sa rājā taṃ vipram āhāsmin kīdṛśī kriyā | tanmūkatāpanodāya sa ca taṃ prāha pārthivam ||
Disse Mārkaṇḍeya: Então o rei perguntou àquele brâmane: “Que tipo de rito há para remover essa mudez?” E ele respondeu ao soberano.
