भीष्मस्य दुर्योधनं प्रति उपालम्भः

Bhīṣma’s Reproof to Duryodhana

राक्षसानां च राजेन्द्र दुर्योधनबलस्य च । राजेन्द्र! फिर तो दुर्योधनकी सेना तथा राक्षसोंमें भयंकर एवं रोमांचकारी युद्ध होने लगा

rākṣasānāṃ ca rājendra duryodhana-balasya ca |

Sañjaya disse: «Ó rei, irrompeu então uma batalha feroz e arrepiadora entre os Rākṣasas e o exército de Duryodhana.» O verso ressalta que, no caos da guerra, até forças aliadas podem ser impelidas a um choque violento, revelando a desordem moral que acompanha a ambição guiada pelo adharma.
