Agastya
Tirtha: Ayodhyā-kṣetra (general context)
Type: kshetra
Listener: (addressed) viprendra / best of brāhmaṇas (likely interlocutor in Ayodhyā-māhātmya frame)
Scene: Acyuta in pītāmbara speaks and vanishes (antar-dhāna) as devas, with folded hands, remain in luminous Ayodhyā, absorbed in Hari’s virtues.
True tīrtha-yātrā is not mere travel but disciplined worship; the Lord’s presence draws even the gods into lasting devotion.
Ayodhyā as an eternal abode of Hari’s glory, connected to the Guptahari-related pilgrimage circuit.
Perform the yātrā ‘vidhānena’ (with prescribed rites) and ‘prayatnataḥ’ (with sincere effort).
