पितुर्वधात्क्रोधकृतावधानं मत्वा सुरा रौद्रमतीव घोरम् । समेत्य सर्वे पुरुषं पुराणं समाश्रितास्ते सहसा सभार्याः
piturvadhātkrodhakṛtāvadhānaṃ matvā surā raudramatīva ghoram | sametya sarve puruṣaṃ purāṇaṃ samāśritāste sahasā sabhāryāḥ
ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਵਧ ਕਾਰਨ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਚੇਤਨਾ ਅਤਿ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਹੋ ਗਈ—ਇਹ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਰ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਆਦਿ-ਪੁਰੁਸ਼ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਲੈ ਗਏ।
