इंद्र उवाच । वरं वरय भद्रं ते राजन्यन्मनसीप्सितम् । त्वां दृष्ट्वा भक्तिसंयुक्तमागतोऽहमसंशयम्
iṃdra uvāca | varaṃ varaya bhadraṃ te rājanyanmanasīpsitam | tvāṃ dṛṣṭvā bhaktisaṃyuktamāgato'hamasaṃśayam
ਇੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ: “ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ, ਤੇਰਾ ਭਲਾ ਹੋਵੇ; ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਵੇ ਉਹ ਵਰ ਮੰਗ। ਤੈਨੂੰ ਭਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਯੁਕਤ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਨਿਸ਼ਚੇ ਹੀ ਇੱਥੇ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ।”
