अंबरीष उवाच । मुक्तिं दातुमशक्तोसि त्वं च वृत्रनिषूदन । तव प्रसादाद्देवेश त्रैलोक्यं मम वर्त्तते । स्वागतं गच्छ देवेश न वरो रोचते मम
aṃbarīṣa uvāca | muktiṃ dātumaśaktosi tvaṃ ca vṛtraniṣūdana | tava prasādāddeveśa trailokyaṃ mama varttate | svāgataṃ gaccha deveśa na varo rocate mama
ਅੰਬਰੀਸ਼ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ: “ਹੇ ਵ੍ਰਿਤ੍ਰ-ਨਿਸੂਦਨ! ਤੂੰ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਦੇਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸਮਰਥ ਹੈਂ। ਹੇ ਦੇਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਈਸ਼! ਤੇਰੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਲੋਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਵਾਗਤ ਹੈ—ਹੇ ਦੇਵેશ, ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਜਾ; ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਵਰਦਾਨ ਰੁਚਿਕਰ ਨਹੀਂ।”
