tataścārādhayāmāsa divānaktamataṃdritaḥ | bali pūjopahāreṇa gītavādyocchrayādibhiḥ

ਫਿਰ ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਬਿਨਾ ਥੱਕੇ ਆਰਾਧਨਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ। ਬਲੀ, ਪੂਜਾ ਦੇ ਉਪਹਾਰ, ਦਾਨ-ਭੇਟਾਂ, ਗੀਤ, ਵਾਜਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਭਕਤੀਮਈ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਠਾਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਨੇ (ਸ਼ਿਵ ਨੂੰ) ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਕੀਤਾ।
