अहं हि ब्रह्मणो वाक्याद्विप्राणां स्थानकं शुभम् । दातुकामो महातीर्थे महीसागरसंगमे

Transliteration

ahaṃ hi brahmaṇo vākyādviprāṇāṃ sthānakaṃ śubham | dātukāmo mahātīrthe mahīsāgarasaṃgame

Translation

“ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਦੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਵਿਪ੍ਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਮਹਾਤੀਰਥ ਵਿੱਚ—ਧਰਤੀ (ਨਦੀ/ਭੂਮੀ) ਅਤੇ ਸਾਗਰ ਦੇ ਸੰਗਮ ਤੇ—ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ੁਭ ਨਿਵਾਸ-ਸਥਾਨ ਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ।”
