न नीचैर्नाप्यविद्वद्भिर्नानात्मज्ञैर्विशेषतः । येषां त्रीण्यवदातानि योनिर्विद्या च कर्म च
na nīcairnāpyavidvadbhirnānātmajñairviśeṣataḥ | yeṣāṃ trīṇyavadātāni yonirvidyā ca karma ca
ਨੀਚਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ, ਨਾ ਹੀ ਅਵਿਦਵਾਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ—ਖ਼ਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਤਮ-ਜ੍ਞਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਜੋ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਿੰਨ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹਨ: ਕੁਲ, ਵਿਦਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਮ।
