स निष्क्रामति संसारे दृढग्राही स तिष्ठति । एवमेतन्महाकष्टं जन्म दुःखं प्रकीर्तितम्
sa niṣkrāmati saṃsāre dṛḍhagrāhī sa tiṣṭhati | evametanmahākaṣṭaṃ janma duḥkhaṃ prakīrtitam
ਜੋ ਗ੍ਰਹਣ ਢਿੱਲਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਕਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ; ਪਰ ਜੋ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹ ਚੰਬੜਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਓਥੇ ਹੀ ਟਿਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਹ ਮਹਾ ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ ਹੈ—ਜਨਮ ਹੀ ਦੁੱਖ ਹੈ।
