evamukte nṛpaḥ prāha procurevaṃ hi koṭiśaḥ | dvijottamāḥ punarnasyaṃ proktumartho hi śakyate
The King (listener-turned-speaker in the dialogue)
Scene: The king, thoughtful and slightly skeptical, addresses the aged brāhmaṇa: the court listens; the moment is poised between tradition and the need for fresh, meaningful guidance.

No tīrtha is mentioned in this verse; it frames a pedagogical question within the dāna discourse.
None directly; the verse requests a clearer, more pointed explanation of the doctrine being discussed.
