देवानां च महामोदं तारकः प्राह सारथिम् । सारथे पश्य सैन्यानि द्राव्यमाणानि मे सुरैः
devānāṃ ca mahāmodaṃ tārakaḥ prāha sārathim | sārathe paśya sainyāni drāvyamāṇāni me suraiḥ
ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਪਾਰ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ, ਤਾਰਕ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰਥੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ: "ਹੇ ਸਾਰਥੀ, ਦੇਖ! ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਫੌਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਧੱਕਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ!"
