na dadāsyuttaraṃ viddhi mṛtāmeva prajāpate | ityuktaḥ sa tadovāca tāṃ patnīmatiduḥkhitām
“ਜਾਣ ਲੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉੱਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ—ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਜਾਪਤੀ, ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਮਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਸਮਾਨ ਹੈ।” ਇਹ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਤਿ ਦੁਖੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਤਦ ਕਿਹਾ।
