दधीच-शाप-हेतु-वर्णनम् / The Cause of Dadhīca’s Curse

तस्माद्विप्राद्वरो राजा च्यवनेय विचार्यताम् । नावमंतव्य एवातः पूज्योऽहं सर्वथा त्वया
tasmādviprādvaro rājā cyavaneya vicāryatām | nāvamaṃtavya evātaḥ pūjyo'haṃ sarvathā tvayā
ਇਸ ਲਈ, ਹੇ ਚ੍ਯਵਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰ—ਰਾਜਾ ਵੀ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਤੋਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਨਾ ਕਰੀਂ; ਹਰ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਦਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਪੂਜ।
