Bharata Enters Ayodhya and Perceives the City’s Desolation

विध्वस्तकवचां रुग्णगजवाजिरथध्वजाम्। हतप्रवीरामापन्नां चमूमिव महाहवे।।2.114.6।।

vidhvastakavacāṃ rugṇagajavājirathadhvajām | hatapravīrām āpannāṃ camūm iva mahāhave || 2.114.6 ||

ਉਹ ਮਹਾਂਯੁੱਧ ਵਿਚ ਟੁੱਟੀ ਹੋਈ ਫੌਜ ਵਾਂਗ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਸੀ: ਕਵਚ ਚੂਰ-ਚੂਰ, ਹਾਥੀ ਤੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਜਖ਼ਮੀ, ਰਥ ਤੇ ਝੰਡੇ ਟੁੱਟੇ, ਵੀਰ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਚਮੂ ਦੁੱਖ ਵਿਚ ਡਿੱਗੀ ਹੋਈ।
