पितृवाक्यपालनम्, गयाश्रुति-उपदेशः, भरतस्य राज्यग्रहण-निर्देशः

उपपन्नमिदं वाक्यं यत्त्वमेवमभाषथाः।जातः पुत्रो दशरथात्कैकेय्यां राजसत्तमात्।।2.107.2।।

upapannam idaṃ vākyaṃ yat tvam evam abhāṣathāḥ | jātaḥ putro daśarathāt kaikeyyāṃ rājasattamāt || 2.107.2 ||

ਤੂੰ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੋਲਿਆ, ਉਹ ਬਚਨ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਯੋਗ ਹੈ; ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਕੈਕਈ ਤੋਂ ਜਨਮਿਆ, ਰਾਜਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਉੱਤਮ ਦਸ਼ਰਥ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੈਂ।
