सृष्टिक्रियान्विता शांतिर्बिद्वाढ्या च त्रिधा पुनः । अरुणाक्ष्यादीपिका च बिंदुयुक्ता द्विधा ततः ॥ २ ॥
sṛṣṭikriyānvitā śāṃtirbidvāḍhyā ca tridhā punaḥ | aruṇākṣyādīpikā ca biṃduyuktā dvidhā tataḥ || 2 ||
‘ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ-ਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਨਾਲ ਯੁਕਤ’ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ-ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ; ਅਤੇ ‘ਬਿਦਵਾਢਿਆ’ ਨਾਮਕ ਰੂਪ ਫਿਰ ਤਿੰਨ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ‘ਅਰੁਣਾਕਸ਼ੀ’ ਅਤੇ ‘ਦੀਪਿਕਾ’ ਮੰਨੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ; ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ‘ਬਿੰਦੁਯੁਕਤਾ’ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੋ ਭੇਦਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
