Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: vira
It frames worldly power (kingship) as arising from ordered causes—strength, auspiciousness, and right placement—implying that even royal fortune follows dharma-governed patterns rather than mere chance.
Indirectly: by showing that status and authority depend on conditions and are therefore impermanent, the text nudges the seeker to prioritize moksha-oriented virtues and devotion over pride in worldly rank.
Jyotiṣa (Vedāṅga astrology): using lagna (ascendant), bhāva (house) factors, benefic influence, and bala (planetary strength) to judge outcomes such as rajayoga/indications of kingship.
