भास्करेंद्वो र्भचक्रांत चक्रार्द्धावधिसंस्थयोः । दृक्कल्पसाधितांशादियुक्तयोः स्वावपक्रमौ ॥ १७६ ॥

ਸੂਰਜ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਦਰਮਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਰਾਸ਼ੀ-ਚੱਕਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਜਾਂ ਅੱਧੇ ਚੱਕਰ ਦੀ ਸੀਮਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਣ, ਤਦ ਦ੍ਰੱਕਲਪ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕੱਢੇ ਅੰਸ਼ ਆਦਿ ਮਾਨ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪਣੇ ਅਪਕ੍ਰਮ (ਡਿਕਲਿਨੇਸ਼ਨ) ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ ਕਰਨੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ।
