Adhyaya 15 — Karmic Retribution: Rebirths After Naraka and the King’s Compassion in Hell
एतच्छ्रुत्वा वचस्तेषां तं याम्यपुरुषं नृपः ।
पप्रच्छ कथमेतेषामाह्लादो मयि तिष्ठति ॥
etac chrutvā vacas teṣāṃ taṃ yāmyapuruṣaṃ nṛpaḥ | papraccha katham eteṣām āhlādo mayi tiṣṭhati ||
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਯਮ ਦੇ ਉਸ ਦੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ— ‘ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ?’
