त्वया विनिर्मितो<हं वै वेदचक्षुर्वयोतिग: । ते मे वेदा हताश्चक्षुरन्धो जातो5स्मि जागृहि
tvayā vinirmito'haṃ vai vedacakṣur vayotigaḥ | te me vedā hatāś cakṣur andho jāto'smi jāgṛhi ||
ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਹੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮੈਂ ਐਸਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਵੇਦ ਹੀ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਬੁਢਾਪੇ ਦੀ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਸੀ। ਹੁਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਉਹ ਵੇਦ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਗਏ; ਮੇਰੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਮਾਰੀ ਗਈ। ਮੈਂ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ—ਜਾਗੋ, ਉੱਠੋ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਸੰਭਾਲੋ।
