Transliteration

ity uktaḥ sa tayā saktūn pragṛhodaṃ vaco 'bravīt

Translation

ਉਸ ਦੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਣ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸੱਤੂ ਦਾ ਅਰਘ ਚੁੱਕ ਲਿਆ; ਆਦਰ-ਭਰੇ ਸਵਾਗਤੀ ਹਾਵ-ਭਾਵ ਨਾਲ ਹੱਥ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਨਮ੍ਰ ਬਚਨ ਬੋਲੇ—ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਧਰਮ-ਘਰ ਦੀ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ, ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਤੇ ਸਯਮ ਨਿਭਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ।
