Adhyaya 72 — Puradāha: Rudra’s Cosmic Chariot, Pāśupata-Vrata, and Brahmā’s Shiva-Stuti

केशो विगतवासाश् च महाकेशो महाज्वरः सोमवल्ली सवर्णश् च सोमपः सेनकस् तथा

Transliteration

keśo vigatavāsāś ca mahākeśo mahājvaraḥ somavallī savarṇaś ca somapaḥ senakas tathā

Translation

ਉਹ ਕੇਸ਼ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਵਿਗਤਵਾਸ—ਸਾਰੇ ਆਵਰਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ; ਉਹ ਮਹਾਕੇਸ਼, ਮਹਾਜ੍ਵਰ—ਬੰਧਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜਨ ਵਾਲਾ। ਉਹ ਸੋਮਵੱਲੀ, ਸਵਰਣ—ਸਮਰੂਪ ਸਰਬਵਿਆਪੀ ਤੇਜ; ਉਹ ਸੋਮਪ, ਅਤੇ ਸੈਨਕ—ਦੇਵਸੇਨਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਇਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੈ।
