Adhyaya 63: Daksha’s Progeny, Kashyapa’s Offspring, and the Rishi-Vamshas that Sustain the Worlds

ब्रह्मर्षेर्वचनात्तस्य पपात न विभुर्दिवः ततः प्रभाकरेत्युक्तः प्रभुरत्रिर्महर्षिभिः

Transliteration

brahmarṣervacanāttasya papāta na vibhurdivaḥ tataḥ prabhākaretyuktaḥ prabhuratrirmaharṣibhiḥ

Translation

ਉਸ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਬਚਨ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਵਿਭੂ ਸਵਰਗ ਤੋਂ ਨਾ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮਹਾਰਿਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਅਗੇ ਚਲ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਅਤ੍ਰੀ ਨੂੰ “ਪ੍ਰਭਾਕਰ” ਆਖਿਆ—ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਤਪ ਪਤੀ (ਸ਼ਿਵ) ਦੁਆਰਾ ਧਾਰਿਤ ਜਗਤ-ਕ੍ਰਮ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
